They say the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Most fallen apples are rotten. Was it just yesterday that I blogged on this topic? Well here we go again – this time there are three rotten apples!

Mom, Pop and Daughter Steal Together!

Three family members from Pennsylvania were arrested in connection with an organized retail theft ring at various Koh’s department stores in the tri-state area.

Ismet Fetic, 52, Snezana Fetic, 49, and Emina Fetic, 29, were arrested for counts of dealing in proceeds of unlawful activities, organized retail theft, retail theft, receiving stolen property and criminal use of a communication facility.

An investigation began in April after information showed that the mother, father and daughter were stealing high end Kitchen Aid mixers, Dyson vacuums and other products from Kohl's stores throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware

The Fetics would select a high priced item and place the price tag from a lower priced item on the box, often while hiding the lower priced item in the bottom of their shopping cart.

Ebay Sales

After paying for the item with the switched price tag and greatly reduced price, they would then list the item for sale on eBay below Kohl's original price.

It's estimated that Kohl's retail loss exceeds $25,000.  Bail was set for each person at 10 percent of $250,000 and they each were subsequently committed to Delaware County Prison awaiting a preliminary hearing.

Doesn’t look like crime paid this time!
