You have to wonder how a drummer who has been with a band less than a year can steal from it. That certainly is like biting the hand that feeds you.

It has been a tough position to fill for My Chemical Romance (MCR). Less than a year after MCR replaced drummer Bob Bryar, the band booted Michael Pedicone from the group after it was alleged that he stole from the band.

Pedicone, who joined MCR late in 2010 as their third drummer, was kicked out on Friday after an alleged incident the night before in Auburn, Washington, according to a posting on the band's official website.

According to lead guitarist Frank Iero, Pedicone is gone for good after he was caught red handed stealing from the band and confessed to police after the band’s latest gig in Auburn, Washington.

Iero professed that the band is sick over the matter. Despite the theft, the band has no intention of pressing charges or taking this matter any farther.

Moving forward, the band does not plan to cancel any shows and has recruited Dead Country's Jarrod Alexander to play with them.

Alexander, who previously played with Death by Stereo and Suicide File, is the fourth drummer to fill the seat for MCR, following in the wake of Pedicone, Bryar and original member Matt Pelissier, who held down the gig from 2001 to 2004. The band has not yet announced whether Alexander is the permanent replacement or just a touring member.

Thus far neither side what was actually stolen. One of my favorite bands of the decade I am very curious to find out what transpired. As a drummer myself, I would like to hear Pedicone’s side of the story. What could he have stolen and how could it have been so bad that he was immediately kicked out of the band?

Again, folks don’t steal! And if you're thinking about it, consider an 8 hour theft class!
