More often than not stealing behavior is a disease that needs to be treated with a theft class and counseling. How do you know if you have this problem? If you have stolen more than once you may have an issue. If you involve your children you definitely have a problem.

An Illinois man and his son were arrested after a series of thefts from local stores all caught on camera, culminating with the father abandoning the child. This was reported in northfulton.com.

Marcus Tyrone Robinson stole from Kohl’s with his 12-year-old son and 5-year-old daughter. He and his son were stealing child's clothing into a push-buggy.

The 42-year-old Robinson went to get the getaway car, a silver Chevy Impala, while the son hid the buggy full of clothing and left the store.

They attempted to steal almost $100 worth of merchandise. Of course Robinson lied about being present despite the fact that surveillance video caught him cold. His son admitted that he had filled the buggy with clothing. While chastising his son, Robinson maintained he had no idea about the theft.

Cameras caught the theft team in action on at least two previous occasions at a local Target store.

A search of nearby parking lots turned up Robinson's Impala, which is thought to be involved in two other thefts at the nearby Target store, where they boosted a Dyson vacuum cleaner a few days prior. Two days after this theft they again stole a Dyson vacuum from a Robinson’s store using the same method.

Robinson was arrested for felony shoplifting, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and obstruction. His son was also arrested for felony shoplifting and turned over to juvenile authorities.

Nice parenting, right? Hopefully both father and son will get a good Illinois theft class and work toward not breaking the law with theft behavior in the future.
