One shoplifting conviction can affect you for the rest of your life. Regardless of what you steal or where you steal it always can come back to haunt you. The case of Yolanda Quesada is a textbook example. She was fired from her job at Wells Fargo for a shoplifting conviction 40 years ago.

Perhaps these people could learn from her mistake

Bra and Panty Thief

An Illinois woman was arrested for shoplifting panties and a bra from Kohl’s Department Store. This according to patch.com.

Miranda Ahsley Lozada was arrested after a Kohl’s loss prevention officer detained her after leaving the department store with the undergarments. The four pairs of panties and bra were valued at $40.36. Is that really worth ruining your life over.

The 20-year-old Lozada said she had never shoplifted before and the experience of being arrested “taught her a lesson.”

Baby Formula

Another Illinois woman was arrested for stealing baby formula. Kimberly A. Miller, 43, stole $500 worth of clothing baby formula from a Target’s store. She even lied to police about her name.

She initially gave her name as Lisa Y. Hoover, but was later confirmed to be Kimberly A. Miller.

Two more lives that could be ruined due to a stupid shoplifting violation. Perhaps had they been forced to take a stop theft class in high school this could have been prevented.
