Given the title of this blog you must be thinking we are dealing with a serious criminal mastermind who cannot be rehabilitated from a simple stop theft class. That is not the case here.

Ebony Taylor, of Miami, Fla., pepper sprayed and bit security officers and an off-duty police officer who stepped in to help when she was caught shoplifting from a Target’s store. As reported in www.sun-sentinel.com.

The 25-year-old Taylor was charged with aggravated battery on an officer, aggravated assault with intent to commit a felony, two counts of theft and multiple other charges. Again, what a dumb series of decision by Ebony.

Taylor walked out of the store with $553 worth of merchandise when she was confronted by security personnel. Taylor went on the offensive immediately, pulling a can of pepper spray out of her bra and blasting the unsuspecting security guards. She then bit one of them on the wrist.

The off-duty police officer received a bite on the thumb. Ebony continued to make poor decisions, worsening her situation. After the pepper spraying and biting failed, Taylor then allegedly threatened to cut those inside the loss prevention office with the sharp end of her earring.

Perhaps it is not surprising that Taylor has been convicted of theft nine times and is currently out on bond for a case that is less than a month old!

Ebony needs a Florida theft class. She also is a serial thief and will continue to steal unless she gets counseling too.
