Just how does one steal a tattoo? The only way would be if they are temporary ones. Those things cost a buck, so why risk your good name to steal temporary tattoos?

Of course illegal substances that made someone make excessively poor decisions were involved.

Not only di Stephanie Carroll steal two packages of temporary tattoos, but got into an altercation in the parking lot with a Dollar Tree employee after being caught. She managed to speed away, but the employee memorized her license plate and officers were dispatched.

A woman is accused of biting an officer after reportedly shoplifting from a Mesa store on Monday, Mesa police said. This as reported in AZCentral.com.

The 43-year-old was located a short time later and refused to acknowledge the officers and reached into her backpack. Fearing she may have a weapon an officer grabbed her arm. She wrestled and then bit the officer on his arm. Talk about making things worse.

It turns out that in addition to the stolen items police also found broken pieces of glass, which were later discovered to be a part of a glass pipe. She admitted having used the pipe to smoke methamphetamine.

Carroll was arrested on suspicion of resisting arrest, possession of drug paraphernalia, aggravated assault on a police officer, destruction of evidence and shoplifting.

I hope she gets both a good Arizona theft class and a drug class. This is abominable behavior, but not atypical from a drug abuser.
