There was a time when the word “gypsy” connotated something mysterious and positive. Given their worldwide talent for pickpocketing and theft that train has long since left the station. The term gypsy automatically creates a fear to guard your personal belongings.

Four gypsies were arrested for their roles in a sophisticated nationwide Chicago-based shoplifting ring that stole at least $3 million in consumer electronics targeting Apple, Microsoft, Best Buy, Costco, PetSmart, Sam’s Club, Sports Authority and Walmart outlets. Thirty-year-old Adeliya Nassybullina was the ringleader of the family posse. Her fellow gypsy thieves were Austra Bauzinskaite, 34, Przemyslaw Skiba, 31, and Lukasz Karasinski, 37. They are all of Polish descent. As reported in www.nydailynews.com.

These thieves carried out the thefts on an almost daily basis since 2009, mainly in Southern California, Colorado, Florida and Washington.

The group claims it was stealing to raise enough money to pay off a family member’s $2 million debt. Despite the mountain of evidence against them, the group plead not guilty.

This is just another sickening example of laziness and greed. People working the system without justifying their existence. I hope they are mandated to a series of theft classes (available here: http://stoptheftclass.com/Home/Online-Theft-Class) and counseling for despicable personal conduct and aberrant moral behavior.
