If you need money, get a job. That certainly is the case for one star from the show Real Housewives of New Jersey. If you are a regular reader of my blog, and I am sure you are, you know how I feel about reality television. I certainly believe they have a negative impact on society as whole.
Kids, and adults, watch these shows and believe the behavior of the “stars” is acceptable when it is quite deplorable. That is their on-show behavior. Their off-show behavior is equally awful. Take the case of Melissa Gorga. As reported in www.christianpost.com.
The "Real Housewives of New Jersey" “star” has again found herself mired in controversy over her criminal history stemming from an arrest made over a decade ago.
The 33-year-old reality TV star was arrested for shoplifting on July 16, 1997, when she was just 18 years old, and there is still a warrant out for her arrest. It’s funny how things come back to bite you on the hind side. The past never stays in the past.
Gorga, who was still under her maiden name "Marco" at the time, was busted for "retail theft" in Palm Beach County, Fla.
The shoplifting drama comes just two weeks after the "RHONJ" season four finale, in which Gorga's past as a stripper was exposed, although she has vehemently denied ever working as an exotic dancer.
This is real life folks!
Please do not watch these shows and do not emulate this pathetic behavior.
