In another case of a scumbag taking advantage of the elderly comes the story of Adrienne Stagner, who stole the credit card of a 101-year-old woman she was caring for and charged over $4,000 worth of goods. Stealing from a 100-year-old is like stealing from a 5-year-old child.

Why would she steal from a 101-year-old woman? Let your mind focus on that question for a second. Well, first she bought gas for a few of her friends. That certainly didn’t come to mind. Oh yeah, she also bought some clothes for herself which is starting sound more normal to me.

Still, how can you bring yourself to steal from someone who is totally defenseless? How about her number one reason for using the card – to purchase illegal drugs.

The 28-year-old took cash advances off the card from ATM machines to buy crystal meth and marijuana. As police were investigating the crime Stagner showed up at work and tried to cover up her crime, telling them the card was somewhere in the home, before finally taking the card out of her backpack and handing it to officers just four hours after taking out yet another cash advance.

The illegal drugs were discovered when police using reasonable cause searched her backpack. This is just another sad case of a person in charge of being a caretaker doing nothing more than illegally taking care of themselves!
